do any of you take your piggies for check ups at the vets and how often. and how often do you clip there nails and do you do this your self

i clip there nails when they need doing myself and only take them to the vets when they are unwell as it is so expensive my vets class guinea pigs as exotic pets and charge almost £15 consultation fee

I usually cut them myself. It can be quite tricky sometimes but its perfectly do-able I only take mine to the vet if they are unwell too.

I did the same. I got a pair of nail clippers from Pets at Home
