Health Question - Boars boy bits

Not the nicest topic....sorry.

Have been doing some reading today about cleaning my boars "bits" as their bum dragging means bits and pieces can get caught up. Now my boys do lots of bum dragging so had an attempt at giving there "bits" a clean. All is fine....I have cleaned out the sac but for the life of me can not get their willy's to come out so I can make sure there is nothing trapped.

I have looked at all the pics and advice how to do it but with no luck! Does anyone have any advice?

Sorry I can't help but just to say I wish I hadn't read this before my tea although it will help with my diet lol :))rolleyes
 
It takes a little bit of a knack to extrude the penis, some boars can be more "difficult" than others. It might be worth getting your vet to show you, or another guinea pig savvy person, as putting pressure in the wrong place may cause discomfort/pain or even injury to your boy bits!

Best way would be to get someone to show you, then for you to try with their guidance.
