So cilla has been unwell with something for 2wks now, after numerous vet visits and a bunch of different meds we took the differcult decision to have cilla put to sleep :( so sad. R.I.P Cilla
 
I am so sorry for your loss and in sorry you were faced with such a difficult decision big hugs to you :hug:

I am very sorry. PTS is sometimes the last gift we can give a beloved pet to release it from its suffering when everything else fails, but it is always a heart-breaking decision. Please don't feel like you have failed Cilla in any way; feelings of guilt/failure are normal for the onset of the grieving process. They only prove that you are a loving and responsible owner.

You are welcome to post a tribute to Cilla in our Rainbow Bridge section if or whenever it feels right for you. We all grieve differently, so some of us feel the need immediately, some later when they have worked past the immediate loss and for some of us it is too upsetting at any time.
 
So sorry for your loss we had to make that heartbreaking decision in February so I know how you feel. RIP little one xx
 
I'm so sorry for your lost x:bye: But as you know it was the best for her. She could still be sufforing now in pain. But you put her mind to rest and now she can have fun with all the other piggies up there :D But she has all of us supporting her through whatever she is doing. Where and When we will always support her and she will always be with us:nod: maybe it was her time to go but maybe she is better up there than sufforing xx Shes in all of our hearts and will never be forgeten :love:
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. You have done the kindest thing for Cilla but I know it doesn't make it any easier to bear. That decision is the toughest one and hurts us so much but it's the best act of love we can do for our piggies. Hugs to you. Popcorn free Cilla xx

It's so very sad when you and your vets do the best you can to try to restore a much loved pet to health, and after trying everything it's just worked. As others have said, helping them to cross over is the final act love and kindness that we can do for our furry companions. I hope you are going to be OK, we are all here if you need to talk.

yeah shes right we are all here for you xx your little piggie will look down at you and think "thank you! thank you for everything you have done for me and thank you for trying to make me better but it was time for me to go" xx hugs to you and your piggie cilla:hug:xx
 
Thank all for your kind words, I do feel guilty but deep down I know it was best for her, cant wait for her ashes to come back so she can sit with our Bugsy ( we lost bugsy in January)
