It's been so hard I just wish that my daughter hasn't found them the way she didMy goodness thats terrible. I cannot imagine how hard that must be and especially for your children. My heart goes out to you all. x
Aww thank you, she's devistated and doesn't want anymore animals as she doesn't want to go through it again, that pic was a few years ago as she's now 12 but the recent pics are all on the compNo I can imagine, as a child thats so painful. I just hope she understands and is able to come to terms with it. I wish I could hug you all!
I think that's a good idea, we are both very close and she talks to me about everything which is good, my dad has buried them in the garden and we are going to buy a nice flower to pot there, and also have a big stone that they are going to decorate for themBIG HUGS!
I am ever so sorry for your loss - all of you! What a nasty, truly horrible thing to do!
It is a horrifying experience for any youngster finding their beloved pet(s) dead in such a way, and it is going to take some time to get over it. You cannot prevent that, but I am sure that you will be there for her.
Would it be possible for you and her to keep a diary in which you write down your feelings every day, but also remember snatchets of memories from before and paste in pictures, so over some time when looking through it, you still have the pain (and a way to work it out of the soul), but also lots of little joys and a tangible way that your beloved piggies are still with you in your heart, a firm part of your life, alive as they were and not just as the dead bodies you saw them last?
RIP - popcorn free together at the Rainbow Bridge!
