My 2 snugglesafe heat pads arrived today for my 2 girls who live indoors. The temperature where their cage is is around 22 degrees during the day but when the heating goes off at around 11pm, it has been dropping to around 16 degrees and when I get up early in the morning they are sort of huddled together in the corner. They are not lying looking relaxed like they usually do, that's why I bought the heat pads.

My question is, do I put the heat pads on now even though the heating will be on for another hour? I'm just wondering if they would get too hot? I'm planning on putting them in the loft area where they usually lie at night. Surely they would go downstairs if it got too hot for them would they?

What do you think?

You would think they would move away from them if they are too hot. I have never used heat pads before so I don't really know.

That's what I was thinking. Think I will just not heat them up to the full amount as heating is still on. I don't think it actually gets cold til around 1am

Yes and you don't want to stay up until 1am. Lol  Too late. I think they will be ok as long as their is a space they can move away from
The heat pads.

Hope so! I would just hate to think they couldn't lie in their favourite spot because it was too hot haha I really do overthink things!
