i was going to get my piggies Snugglesafe heat pads but they are £15 on Amazon and I need 3, so was wondering if there was anything cheaper but safe and works well out there?

I'm using my SnuggleSafe for the first time tonight - it's my new piggies' first night outside and of course they would rather sit in a pile of hay under a step-stool! However, I would rather go with the more expensive option that I know other people use and works and is known to be safe. I would worry buying something cheeper that loads of people don't already use, but that's just me and I am a bit of a worrier! Especially with my new babies

There may be cheaper options out there but I think the snuggle safes are worth every penny! :)

Keep a look out on the Amazon Lightning Deals. Unfortunately you have recently missed out as they have been in the deals section 4-5 times in the build up to Christmas. Mine were about £10 each. I only have two of them but that's because they have two larger sleeping areas and I put one in each so that the heat can radiate a bit and keep it nice and snuggly. I did worry about them a little last night when I was walking between pubs in Derby in the freezing snow at midnight

I use a hot water bottle. Just dont fill it up so its boiling hot and make sure its wrapped up in a towel and they work really good, and as its made of rubber it doesnt matter if they wee on them, they are super cheap on amazon and come with a felt cover.

£15 is a really good price, and if you get all 3 on Amazon then its free delivery. As mentioned above I recently got another one in one of amzons deals, but then had to pay £4.95 delivery (as amazon seem to have the eligible for free delivery when over £20 now). But was still cheaper than them at full price. I was abit dubious about the lenght of time it says they stay hot for but I have to say they are fantastic and would def recommend them. Water bottle is a cheaper option but these are fab.

VetUK used to do them for about £13 but check ebay etc too. They are brilliant. My Katie skinny has been poorly, not helped by the fact that she struggles to maintain her temperature being both a skinny and a heart pig and her heat pad has really helped her this last week.
