Heat pads

We have the snugglesafe heat pads and was going to put them in for my boys tonight as the temperature has dropped I was wondering where do you put yours? Should I put them in their hideout us or outside of their hideouts? Thanks

i put mine under there hides/lounging logs,and put hay on top !

mine love them,it keeps the chill off.you can put fleece hides in if you want to.but personally i find they get damp in outside piggies hutches due to the cold.

So inside their hideys should be ok then? Don’t want to cook them but I suppose if they got to warm they would move of? Xx

 

[Piggies&buns]

My piggies have four snugglesafes between the two of them. I put one in hide 1 downstairs (not one in hide 2 downstairs) , one by the hayrack 1 upstairs (none by hayrack 2) and one in the bedroom compartment of the hutch but not in the hide and one in a hide in the bedroom compartment.. That way, they have plenty of places to choose to go depending whether they want to be in a pad or not!
