I swear poppy is gonna be the death of me. She's been weezing or raddleing for about 3 weeks now. Thats when we we took her to the vet, the vet said she was fine. But she gave her antibiotics for a respiratory infection just in case. She finished those 2 weeks ago but her breathing didn't improve. I kept watching her though.
NOTE!: our ac broke around the time she started breathing weird)
And just tonight we realized it's probably heat stroke or overheating. I wrapped her in a wet towel (luke warm) and sat her by a fan, she cooled down in no time! Her breathing also doesn't sound as bad now that she's cooled off. I'm hoping I can get her an appointment this week though to make sure she's ok.

I'm gonna be putting them in the room with me were it's a lot cooler until the ac gets fixed

Hi!

Please see a vet promply! Heat stroke affects the heart and the digestive system as well. Any piggy may also need subcutaneous fluids.
Make sure that you have other measures in place and available in case your AC fails. You can find all the necessary information on heat strokes and how to keep your girl cool in this link here. Please also be aware that strong AC can cause respiratory issues, including a URI.
