I have seen in local pet stores, tiles that are recommended to place in small animal cages/runs for them to lay on to keep cool in the warm weather.

Does anyone know if these are safe for GP as the labels states they are for chinchillas!

With the warmer weather coming, i thought i may purchase a couple for my piggies to lay on.

Many Thanks

They are safe for guineas but a bathroom tile works well too :)

You can also get IcePods that you freeze, but again - you can use frozen water bottles too.

Thanks Sophie - this may sound like a strange question, but would that be a basic bathroom tile or anything special ?

My piggies live indoors and although the windows etc are locked open if we are not there, i wanted extra comfort for them in the warm weather

I use three small marble pot stands in my shed - got them in a charity shop for 20p each :))

I do need to add to that - its not enogh for 12 piggies. Must go tile shopping
