Midge has always liked the water bottle and is never normally far from one. Yesterday she successfully underwent a spay. She had 2 cystic ovaries and an undiagnosed lump within the uterus. Since shes been home she has only drunk from the water bottle twice (as much as weve heard/seen). We have syringed water 3 times and kept her topped up with wet veg. Does anybody have information on whether the cystic ovaries were causing her to be thirsty or whether it's just coincidence. Thanks.
 
Maybe she is not drinking so much as she feels sore and does not feel like. Keep an eye on her and see if she drinks more in the next few days.
 
Could you ring the vets and just ask? Will put you at ease if it's normal. She might just be dosey and drinking is a choir.. you've seen how they go at the bottle! Exhaustinggg
