Heeey New Guinea Owner

Hey y'all,

So i just got a brand spankin' new bb guinea a few weeks ago. Right now he is about 12 weeks old. I am wondering why he shrieks like a bird randomly around 8pm every night. Is that normal? does he need something? Also, anyone have tips on taking care of a new guinea pig? I am looking for a friend for him right now - an older male. It's difficult to find him a buddy since I live in a small town and there is 1 pet store.

That's very good you're looking for a friend for him! That is VERY rare for guinea pigs to be chirping, but I'm not really sure what it means. Make sure to get that on video! Here are some links to some of the new owner guides.
