Hefty baby guinea pig. Anyone else got a monster?

Been keeping up with weighing my boys regularly. The other three have pretty much stabilised their weight. Suilven is 14 months and about 1.2kg, Angus & Hamish are both about 10 months and just over 1kg but Arran is only 5-6 months and weights 1.1kg!

He's just huge! IS it his breed? He's a Lunkyara... or is he just a mammoth pig? He's not fat he's just massive, he is long and wide too with masses of ahir. He'll be a monster by the time he reaches 1 year old!

i think it could be the breed, crunchie my swiss piggy and by the time he was 5-6 months he was 1kg and he's still getting bigger! hes about 10 months now and is about 1.4 my other piggy is a texel and hes the same age nearly and hes barely over a kg at the moment. I think we have monster piggies

I think its the breed! As you know Winston is a lunk too and he's been that kind of weight since 6 months, he's about 1.3 now and he's 1 next week the little chunker

Yeah he's chunky lol. I've trimmed his hair RIGHT down it was driving me mad and he will not let you groom him at all so amy came and gave it a cut good now i do it once a month, its about 2cm all over lol!

Sigh....I'll make sure I reinforce the cage when he comes to stay....lol.....
