Heidi has started tilting her head slightly today. She seems okay (eating, drinking, etc).

We're going to take her to the vets obviously, but just wondered what it was likely to be and what treatment it would be for her. I know it can be caused by an ear infection but have also seen a few things about ear mites etc.

Thank you in advance :)

It could be a number of things really, but the most likely culprits in an otherwise healthy pig would be an ear infection or ear mites.

You're doing exactly the right thing by taking her to see a vet, and they will be able to advise on the best treatments after giving her a physical examination.

Good luck at the vets, and let us know how you get on!

Thank you.

What would the treatment be for an ear infection?
