Height of water bottles on hutch

Hi there,

A pretty basic question but how high should the girls water bottles be on the outside of their hutch?

I don't know exactly what my height is but I have 2 - 3 bottles per hutch and they are all different heights. My pigs tend to drink differently and so by keeping different heights, it seems to work for me, but at a guess i would say anything from 1-2 inches in height.

Lovely thank you! I have 3 on the double hutch, all at diff heights at the mo as I was unsure they’re def drinking

Yep that sounds right, it works out a bottle per pig and in case one gets blocked up with food, I have even tried different bottles etc. Funny how they all decide to drink from one bottle in the end though.
