Having purchased some bottles suddenly reaslised cant do them on outside without the spout being quite high c/o the correx being 6+" up the side.

So is it OK being so high or just a case of putting on the inside being best plan? Presume there's no real downsides of doing this?

why not just cut a tiny hole in the correx for the bottle end - that way you can position it anywhere you like O0

Now how would you place it on the inside?
Now the white clip would allow the bottle to slip down if you put it on the inside, unless you use 2 cable ties, one around the bottle and one at the top of the metal tube, next to the red plastic to support the weight.
You could glue something to the top and suspend it, as you can not make a hole in the top of the bottle to suspend it, or the bottle will leak.
Do not bother wasting money on Ferplast Sippy bottles they are useless....
But if you come up with a good idea let us know.
Or as someone else said make a hole (which seems logical to me)

i was thinking as long as wire or cable tie (which would presumably then be a pain to remove & refill/clean) was tight enough to the bottle & cage that the bottom of the bottle rests nicely against the correx. Presume it will allow for some rotation but presuming it wouldn;t slip down. Think i'll have a play see how it goes & put my brain into potential alternative solutions. Going to have 2 bottles & at least one bowl so worst case if it goes wrong they can go elsewhere in short term.......

Hole probably is easiest (Si prepares to do evil dentist impression with drill)

If you're getting baby piglets you might need the water bottle to be lower. Older pigs are happy to stretch upwards. Once you get them maybe you can gauge how low/high the bottle needs to be.
Having the option of bottle/bowl sounds good, but when I put a water bowl in mine pooped in it 2funny just warning you!

mines on the inside, i use a cable tie to hold it and slip the water bottle through the cable tie :)

Can I just tell you, you have two common builder bricks in there, have you sexed the bricks? Or you may be over run with bricks 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny

i thought bricks were usually used to desex males or was that just when i was chasing after a massons daughter? lol

As with men, I find it easier to shove them head 1st in a wellie and then lop their fluffy bits off with a blunt rusty knife >:D

I use Ferplast sippy bottles on my C&C and found it much easier and far more flexible about height. When I used the classic bottles I actually put an extra grid diagonally across one corner so I could have it at the height i wanted inside the cage without having to cut the correx.
