Hello all,

My name is Peter and I am the better half of Sunshine and Twinkle! As the regular posters here already know Louise I just wish to say hello to you all on this sad day. As you are aware we lost our beloved cuzzy today and all of the family have had a tear or two rolling down our cheeks, except Caitlin our youngest who is unaware as she is 2½.

I took care of cuzzy during his last breaths and gave him a cuddle as he passed away, which left more than a lump in my throat and I am sure most of you will know how that feels.

Anyway, I hope you are all well and that all your piggies are well.

Oh no !!! thats just sooooooooooo sad - i wanted to reply when i just read this in the thread about welcoming people and then just found this and i just wanna say it is just soooo sad :'( :'( :'( what did Cuzzie die of do you know R.I.P 0:)

ILA Cuzzy probably had pnumonia caused by the uri and the ear infection, it was very rapid and came out of the blue.

oh my gosh, i had no idea cuzzy had gone to the bridge..

I'm so sorry for your loss :'(
 
Thanks to all of you for your support, Louise is fine except for the floods of tears this morning. As Louise said, we think he got pneumonia, so quickly that it was impossible to guage it's severity as he ate his critcal care and lettuce last night. He then had a little wander around then settled down.

He was due to be seen by the vet at 4pm today but obviously it was too late to do anything and to look back and try to analyze what happened would be disrespectful to cuzzy as he did his best to fight right to the end.

He was a little trooper O0

Welcome to the forum its great to be able to say Hi.

My OH and i were so shocked to hear about little Cuzzy he was such a sweet little piggy. Our thoughts are with you all.

We think Louise is great she is always there to offer good advice she really is lovely she tried so hard with Cuzzy :smitten: :smitten:

Welcome to the forum :) I'm the one who sold you Cuzzys cage :) its so sad, but as i said to Louise he couldnt have asked for a better family and at least he went in peace. Hope you're all ok, love Emma x

Hi Emma, you have given Louise some good advice as well as being a good friend to her on here, and thats good to see in Liverpool ::)

Hi Graham, one thing you'll realise is, be careful what you say to any scouse woman 0:)

I second that. She is a great researcher always there to give advice. She would be a great Moderator :smitten:

Hi Lindsay, one thing you probably don't know about Louise is that she used to moderate a large number of football boards on AOL, including some of the toughest ones like Man utd! and she is a fully trained moderator at that.

Our Fuzzy got pneumonia - we did everything we could - he even stayed at the vets while we were at work and they nursed him, but in the end it didn't work, and we were so upset.

Is Louise OK?

Wow thats great bet she was great at that. Pleased she likes football. We are season ticket holders for Championship side Scunthorpe United. She should moderate our footy board Iron Bru the lads on there need sorting! ;D

Hello Katie, Louise had a good sob this morning but she is fine now! Our little girl was told after she got out of school and also sobbed, but she understands that he was not a well Piggie. Cuzzy was a fighter to the end - god bless him..

I bawled my eyes out when we lost Fuzzy and Lucky! For weeks!

I'm from Birkenhead so just over the water from you but live in N.Wales now, my OH is a massive blues fan, Louise is a red isn't she?!

Welcome on board.
I was very sad to hear about Cuzzy, we were all rooting for him. Louise is well liked around here and speaks highly of you.
I hope Emily has settled for you, my 12 year old was unconsolable for days after he lost his hamster earlier this year.
