My mum picked up the guinea pigs I chose last week and drove them to mine today. I was so excited that when I heard her car outside I ran down the stairs leaving my flat wide open. I gave them each a very little cuddle before they went into their cage but now they're staying in there for the recommended 24hrs before I get them out for cuddles again. Just gotta wait until 11am tomorrow...
They both already have names, the one I have decent pics of is Phantom, named for the little mask she wears, like the phantom of the opera and the one STILL hiding in the pigloo :( is Smooch, so named because the first thing she did when I held her the first time was jump up and kiss my nose, she demanded a kiss before going in her cage today too!

I'm so pleased that you are happy with your guinea pigs. I love Phantom's mask.
 
Aww lovely photos. Can't wait to see more photos of smooch when she's feeling brave enough to come out :))
 
Poor Smooch, Phantom's getting all the fuss. Lol hopefully I'll be able to get some nice shots of her tomorrow and then she'll get just as much attention. <3

So mum had the idea to take away the pigloo and cover the cage instead, apparently Smooch is a bit special and didn't realise Phantom was in the cage with her because she couldn't see her... The moment I took away the pigloo and they were reunited we had burbling, popcorning, piggy trains and finger kissing. I left the blanket over the cage in the night but I've pushed it back now and Smooch is actually the braver one of the two, stretching up at the bars for tickles... Silly pig just wanted to know her sister was okay. :roll:

Anyway, I have some actual pictures of her now. Enjoy!:D

I don't know why my phone rotates them. :(

The girls a still settling in well, even though they're still terrified of OH and not used to cuddles yet, even Phantom is starting to enjoy them!
