Hello! I was brushing my Cocoa Puff earlier and he has a cyst on his booty. 🙄 it’s a little pea size and his vet said to just clean the area and monitor it since it’s not bothering him. I have medication to keep it clean is there anything else anyone would recommend? Photo just to show off my cutie pie enjoying the sun

Helo Cocoa Puff, you are a fine piggy. I hope someone comes along who has lots of knowledge about cysts ❤🐾

So its on his grease gland.
Sebaceous cysts (if that is what it is) are harmless but tend to grow and can burst and can become infected. A burst cyst tends to just refill so unfortunately that means they often need to be surgically removed.
You can monitor it but if it grows then you can be better off to get it removed before it bursts particularly if it is on his grease gland
