hello my name is Gaile from newcastle i have 3 guinea pigs.Piglet,Fizzi & Boris.Boris is half brother to the sisters.Girls born 10th march 2006 & Boris 20th March 2006.Just rehomed Boris because owner could'nt look after him.Pleased to 'rescue' him because hutch not clean and not right food!He is in his own hutch until he is neutered next week 23th Nov.Although they are related do you think that they will bond ok,will make it happen slowly. He was allowed to run around with a male rabbit, they kept mounting each other,so will Boris do this to his sisters?I have male rabbit but he is neutered so will be ok,but i will intro them slowly. They have their OWN hutches, same run 12ft by 18ft lots of hiding places, girls are use to Domino the rabbit and pet hen Spangle.Hope someone can give some real guinea pig advice. Thanks p.s guinea pigs in shed for winter have lovely big hutches to run in.

Neutering piggies doesn't help with aggression like it does with rabbits, so the only reason to do it really is so they can be put with a female without making more pigs :)

thank you for replies.I know that neutering pigles will not change their aggression. But sometimes it doesn't work on rabbits either!Only having Boris 'done' because firstly do not want more guinea pigs and because they are closely related. Also that,he is not on his own!
