hello I need a little help. I apoted a guinea pig for a rescue in christmas Florida. I am really concerned this is my 1st time adopted from a rescue . I didn't notice that she is missing hair in the back of her neck. I bathed her and put her with my healthy guinea pig . I notice during that 1st 30 minutes when I was supervising the interaction. I bath her righ away with antifungus shampoo. I also order ivermectin and gave her and my other guinea pig the correct fose. I am really concerned I now I know I did everything in the wrong putting togetherin the same enclose. I am not sure if she have wringworm or mites I am concerned for both of them. see pictures below. PLEASE NOT CRITICISM I ALREDY KNOW I ANS LEARN MY LEASON!

She needs to see a vet for a correct diagnosis. The hair loss, to me anyway, doesn't look typical of either mites or ringworm given the lack of dry skin or scabs you would expect from scratching.

:agr:
Please do see a vet for diagnosis.

Do ensure you tell the vet you have already used shampoos and ivermectin as unfortunately using them prior to seeing a vet can mean the tell tale signs of skin conditions have been wiped away.

As it stands though they don’t look typical for mites or ringworm but only a vet can say for sure.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Your piggies are adorable. Good luck at the vets. I hope it’s something easily treatable.

Hello and welcome.
Instead of worrying, I would take him to the vet to make sure everything is ok. Get help for your piggies if they don’t look right.

Welcome to the forum.
A vet trip is always a good idea with any concern.
You can get a proper diagnosis and treatment that may be needed.
You will also get peace of mind.
Your piggies are beautiful and I think they have found a lovely home with you
