NO! Don't ignore me! I'm sick of people walking all over me so I thought that if I showed that I was strong then you wouldn't do that to me. I treat my piggies well and while I breed them they are not in bad condition. I am not a troll I am a real person with real feelings and real guinea pigs.

I don't think it is personal at all, I want to know why you have come on the forum and choose to dismiss the rules and guidelines? ?
 
To be honest, real or not, I think you should stop being so cold hearted/immature/an attention seeker.

whole heartedly agree with everything you have said could not of put it better myself.
 
I didn't read the rules and guidelines. I thought they would just basically be to not post links to porn sites, etc.

I am willing to give you a second chance, you have offended me personally, which I don't take kindly to. I am not talking down to you just given you a second chance, in is in your court you can take it or leave. However, if you offend me or anyone else I shall like everyone else is saying to do ignore you, I am not going to waste my time. Now I am asking you not to mention breeding and think before you post. Welcome to the forum. :)
 
Hey drizzle. I haven't read the rest of this site because from post one it seemed like a dig at breeders. Someone has to breed them otherwise they wouldn't be available in stores and eventually there wouldn't be any. But I don't know much about the politics on this board other than people like rescues (I personally prefer rescues because they need homes and I love them) but we own some very beautiful store bought (That means from a breeder) piggies.

Anyways I think just shy away from mentioning your a breeder (Shock horror?) and you'll be welcomed here. Anyways if you need a friend, hit me with a PM. I'm 19 too and love talking about piggies with breeder and rescuer alike!

Can't we all just get along and stop fighting?

Backyard breeding is what people are against...just mating animals for babies not really giving as sh*t and the ones they cant flog for a couple of quid ending up on the side of a motorway....If neither of you can understand that then..well I'm not even going to finish that sentence.

Believe me if people stopped backyard breeding, there are so many guinea pigs in rescues, i doubt it would make a difference for the first few years.

drizzle I too breed my pigs but not the same way as you I do it for myself ALL pigs are kept never parted with and the last time any of mine had babies was january and i had waited 3 YEARS for the specific ones I wanted I also adopted a young mum who unknown to me was preganant and she gave birth to little Henry in january much to my surprise all are kept and might i say worshipped now although this site is anti breeding I have yet to find anyone moan at me for doing it unless they are not understanding why I do it, and apart from announcing the wonderful births I dont tend to go on about breeding which is what this forum is not about , in other words I respect the decisions and rules I live on the isle of wight we do not have any rescues so to keep my numbers up once in a blue moon I allow one of my sows to have one litter she gets vets care they know me so well I am known as the piggy lady, that one sow will be the right age right health and tends to be bred for good character etc, not in bred which absoluty discusts me and so does back to back breeding , and of course backyard breeding,
anyway prove you are an animal lover and talk sense and you will find you will make lots of friends but go against the rules so blatently and you wont, you now need to give us time to trust you again and you do not need to defend yourself in such a nasty way no one will walk all over you I tend to find animal lovers are nice easy going laid back poeple but your attitude might just have ruffled some feathers mine included, so dont be surprised if you make flip comments you will be ignored to stop this happening re read before you post the message, now come on everyone one more chance for her hopefully she now understands why we are so cross with her everyone on here loves animals if you do as well you should fit right in ,
 
If you wanted to be taken seriously then you shouldn't have posted what you did. If you are a genuinely nice breeder who is extra responsible, then we'd have been lovely and welcoming anyway. Nobody's going to like someone who doesn't care for their pets. I'm sure if you start again, and take back what you didn't mean you'll be more than welcome.
