hello, long time no speak!

hello, i know i don't post that much on here, but now i have a new job it means i can't go on the guinea pig forum at work anymore. i feel like i am missing out on all the piggy action!

anyway, i took Steve for a night away in a fancy hotel last night, so i am making use of the wi-fi before we go home shortly and go back to reality.

Pickle has been at the vets several times the last couple of months, she got very sick, she is skinny as a rake, but she is still eating and drinking and bossing the others around! Muffin had dental surgery last week and luckily he is now back to eating properly. Ambrosia is going to the vets this afternoon as she is not right and my cat Elmo was at the vets as she had a chest infection again.

all in all, a very expensive time at the vets!

Thanks guys. I am currently at the vets with brosie. They are putting some fluid under her skin and she has some baytril

Thank you so much. I have had alot of problems with animals lately. But i do have 8 of them so when they go wrong its expensive!
Pickle was on deaths door end of august. She was on baytril and metacam. Then she started chewing brosies fur and broke a tooth. I had to cut all of brosies fur really short to stop pickle eating it!

Pickles tooth grew back really quickly and she is still really skinny but she is back to her perky self. I think her illness has rubbed off on brosie.
We dont know for sure how old brosie is as she was an rspca pig, but i will do everything i can for her
