Hello all, I want to introduce you to the new additions to my home. Meet Coffee Bean (my baby, the black/ginger) and White Tea (my husbands baby, the white/black). We fell in love with their crazy hair and playful personalities and knew they were the pigs for us. We have them at home now and they've bonded almost instantly. Coffee Bean is definitely the "leader" of the two as she marches around their huge c and c cage with White Tea in tow. She's also the more vocal one, already letting us know how she feels about veggies!

Our son, 4, is already so helpful and sweet with them too. Over the past couple days, he's already helped to feed them and change their water. We haven't held them yet as we just got them and want them to settle, but they've already started to take veggies from our hands! When we sit nearby the cage the two run around and popcorn, it's such a site to see! I understand why people love these little dears so much and I am so happy to have been able to open our hearts and homes to these two little girls.

Oh my gosh, I actually love cleaning out their cage, it's not nearly as time consuming as I thought it would be. It's honestly relaxing and I get to spend some time with the girls! Even better, they popcorn all around the dustpan and get the zoomies! After cleaning the cage I was brave enough to hold the girls with their snuggle sacks (separately of course). White Tea enjoyed sitting on my lap while we listened to the rain this morning. Coffee Bean was a little too active to snap a picture of haha.

Hello and welcome to TGPF and the wonderful world of guinea piggies ❤️❤️
They are so cute 🥰

You are very lucky to have these cuties and they are lucky to have you! Enjoy every minute with them

I didn't take a picture today, but I trimmed both the girls bottoms as they were starting to get a bit damp after they'd wee and sit in it in their snuggle sacks. White Tea was a little better with the trim than Coffee Bean (even if I did have to carefully manhandle her). Coffee Bean had a hard time with it because I found a small mat developing on her under rear side that I had to carefully snip away. She didn't like that at ALL! After the trims I brushed them out, which again, they both told me off while I was doing. Thankfully, they forgot about the whole ordeal after veggies rained down into the enclosure. I THINK we're friends again haha!

The girls enjoying some veggies from this morning. Their favorite things in the world are green peppers, red leaf lettuce, and cucumber. I can’t believe how much they’ve grown since we took them in! Coffee Bean is still a bit smaller than White Tea but, weigh ins have shown she’s been steadily gaining weight. They’re as happy as can be and now run up to the side of their enclosure to greet me when I come home (although I think it’s more for the veggies I give when I come home haha)! It sure makes my day ❤️

Something adorable happened today! White Tea gave me kisses while I clipped her nails; it was so unexpected! Coffee Bean has only ever nibbled at me, no kisses from her yet lol

In addition, they’ve grown even more, they’re both in the 500g range now and still going. I wonder how much of that is their hair though!

I am thoroughly enjoying being a mama to these sweet Guinea girls. All I want to do is spoil them. I’ve been thinking about getting them a bigger hammock or making one myself as the one they have is starting to look too small to lounge in.
