My 7 and a half ish guinea pig fell out of here hutch about a week ago and she is limping or more stumbling around the hutch. when she fell she did not scream and is not screaming in pain. she is old and I am worried. does anyone know how long a sprained leg of an elderly guinea pig take to heal?

I think that you need to get her to see a vet as soon as possible so that she can be treated. Guinea pigs hide their pain so she may be suffering in silence. A broken leg will heal by itself but she does need to see a vet because it could be more than that x

Please see a vet ASAP. They can assess the injury and check it is nothing more serious than a sprain and advise as needed. They can also provide pain relief so your guinea pig can feel more comfortable while it heals. Guinea pigs hide pain very well so just because she isn't making noise doesn't mean she isn't in a lot of pain.
