Poor girlie, it's hard to know what to do when they are so tiny. Dioralyte should help keep her hydrated, obviously taking extra care to just pop a few drops in the mouth at a time. Probiotic could help - sometimes it does help, sometimes it doesn't, it depends on the cause. Witholding the greens (and grass) is good, the key is preventing dehydration and getting plenty of fibre through the system.

Poor little love! Rehydration fluids would they be ok to use? One thing with diarrhoea is that it dehydrates them so quickly! Pearl went from being ok at 5pm to being so unwell 4 hours later.

Good luck with the wee babe, keep us posted! x

so sad she is definitley leaving us, she can't walk and is almost there, she has been doing the running with her legs for a while but now can't do that even, she seem's to do a hiccup with her mouth wide open and then just waits for the next hiccup.

I just pray she goes quickly as sooo awful seeing her like this. She was the smallest one of them all and at 4 weeks only weighed 124g, though she did seem the most active. Think something must of upset her tummy and being so small she just couldn't deal with it.

Sorry Sue. I had a few of the January babies die like this - a bit of diarreah then died very quickly, I didn't ever know what caused it - as they hadn't had different veg or anything obvious.

Bless her, sounds like she's unaware of it all luckily - praying she goes soon.

Hugs to you

Sophie
