I'm going to attempt to re bond my two boys today.
I've been told to give them baths, I was wondering do I give them a bath together or bath one put them in the run then do the other? The run will be neutral with nothing smelly in, not closed one entry hideys, and lots of food to distract.
Any other tips will be most welcome!
I'm obviously going to clean the cage and disinfect that too so it's neutral if they return there.

Bath them together, its called a bonding bath, i think generally its designed to bring them together as piggies can find a bath quite scary so will look for comfort from each other.

good luck x

Put them in a small box together and go on a journey somewhere...half an hour in the car or bus ride...by the time you get to the end of it they will be fine with each other...

it scares them and through joint scaredness they bond together again. I know several people who have tried it with great success :)

So far so good. Gave them a bath together, think they were in shock but they ended up cuddling up together in the bath and I've just put them in the run and they're pottering about. Still looking a bit terrified though :))

If you do decide to use the fear bonding method as described by Squidge, please take someone with you if you are driving as it will be very difficult for you to intervene should they start fighting.

I don't think this method always works, my two notoriously aren't friends & I could hear them arguing the whole journey :(

I would say the bath is a better idea personally rolleyes

I think that if two boars don't like each other then they're not going to get on regardless of what you try...both are options and do work for some pigs...obviously not all of them. sometimes if one doesn't work the other might, it's always best to try every option available to you :)
