Dose anyone know of anything that I can buy to help boost immune systems & help keep my guineas and rabbits healthy? (Apart from their normal injections)
I already use the vitamin drops you can get ffrom pets at home.
I've heard of people using echinacea for rabbits to help prevent snuffles & Red Raspberry leaf tablets.

Is their anything else that's good?

Here in Australia, Oxbow sell an "Immune Support" hay tablet for guinea pigs, which is a mix of immune-supporting herbs in timothy hay. I'm assuming this or something similar is also available in the UK?

I haven't tried the "Immune Support" product, but I have used Oxbow's "Senior", "Digestive" and "Urinary" hay tab products. I've no idea if they work, and they are quite expensive, and some batches are hard (I have to soak them in warm water before giving them) ... but my boys LOVE these products :)

i was going to say that echinacea (coneflower) is a natural immune booster. i wouldn't use the vitamin drop type things to be honest as they aren't meant to be any good. i think a healthy balanced diet, plenty of hay and grass, small amounts of leafy greens (and forage for rabbits), none or very limited pellets, enough space and exercise etc will all make sure that your pets are as healthy and happy as they should be :)

eta: galens garden is a great site for info and natural products which would be suitable. you could contact them aswell to ask specifically about your own pets. they are very knowledgeable :)

Absolutely agree with this - no supplement can beat a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle :)
