Help Breathing

Hi
Does anybody use and type of diffusers/ oil diffusers/ purifiers in the room with the guinea pigs? I have a female piggy and very randomly her breathing is quite chesty/rattle. For example last night she sounded very wheezey this morning she's fine. Been to a guinea pig specialist numerous times and tried numerous of medicines. I was wondering if maybe some type of steamer might help if anybody has done this? And can recommend any?
My guinea pigs live in their own bedroom with no radiator.

Maybe discuss using a nebuliser with your vet? I certainly wouldn’t use anything scented, perhaps even a bowl of hot water near the cage will help as they breathe in the steam? It certainly helped when my hamster was having breathing problems x

Yes I have mentioned it with my vet. O no I wouldn't get scented ones. I've tried a bowl or steaming water didn't really do anything but then again I can't get it close enough to her cage.. It was just in the room

@Munch_Bunch I second the nebuliser idea. Have a chat with your vet to see what they think.

My sister had a rat with breathing problems and she would take her in the bathroom in a carrier when she was in the shower.

My vet said I could do that what happens if it gets too steamy?

I'm not sure about any specifics, it was quite a while ago. I know it helped Ellie the rat though. She just had ten minutes or something like that when she was bad.
