Hi guys, ...
I'm so worried about my new baby guinea pig Peanut. I'm an avid guinea pig lover and just got the poor little baby to be a buddy with my older boar Coco (who loves him so much and grooms him and plays with him very well, so I don't think any fight injury is in order)...
Anyway, my baby guinea named Peanut is secreting milky white discharge at the front of his eyes (it looks exactly like the NORMAL milky white discharge example picture at guinea lynx ), and although the white discharge seems normal, it has been an entire day and he is still squinting his eye and blinking it (even after I wiped at it with a warm wet cloth), though when I wipe at it he makes no fuss at all, so I'm confused as to whether or not he is in pain. He is playing normally and very active, still vocal and eating right as well as drinking and going to the bathroom okay... What could possibly be the issue? I'm panicking and I can't discern whether or not his eye is swollen or puffy or if I'm just imagining it because I'm so worried and panicky. Here are some attached photos:

PLEASE help, guys. I'm a college student and I've checked if there are any exotic vets specialists around and I've found none that are NOT more than 60 miles away and I've got no access to a car (one of my friends had taken it out and gotten into an accident, and now it's completely out of comission... go figure, when I NEED it most). I've checked all the bus routes that go around the school and nothing stops near any animal hospital either that has experience with and can care for guinea pigs, that I've heard or know of. Did Peanut just poke his eye on some hay? Does he have an infection? I just got Peanut from the pet store yesterday and I'm so heartbroken about it because I treat my piggies as if they were babies. PLEASE, please, help us!
