I put my two guinea pigs on my bed as I've done pretty much every day for the past two months. Today, however, I've got a waterproof sheet on my bed - made out of plastic I think. I turned around and they've eaten a massive chunk of the sheet.
Obviously I now know not to leave them alone for even a minute (they're so cheeky), but I'm wondering if they'll be okay after eating the plastic?

I don’t know the answer to that one but I always check with my vet in any case of concern.
Can you chat to your vet on the phone ?

If there is any trouble or mischief to be got into in our house it’s guaranteed that Jemimah will be there so they can be little monkeys

Hi! guinea pigs don't have a vomit reflex, so anything that has gone in at the front, needs to come out the on the other side. Hopefully you are OK, but please keep an close eye on them for the next day or two and see a vet asap as an emergency if you notice one them of them looking not right, in pain, off its food and lethargic.
