I'm so sorry for your loss.
You say he was loosing weight, did you take him to the vets during this time?
 
Yes. We took him too a vet last week because he had some I problems. I mentioned how he lost weight and the vet said he was fine.
 
Have a look on our recommended vets as you may find one that is more piggy savvy for your current pig.
