hi I’m really confused at the moment because I want to get piggies within the next few months but I'm so confused as to what foods are safe! I feel like the information is so unclear and I’m very anxious that I’ll feed them the wrong stuff. Does anyone have a timetable/ food chart of food that I can follow every day? All the ones on Pinterest seem too vague ahhhhhh

Hiya, if you go above (on the green bar) press forums, then go down to piggy care & lower down there is a forum that says food. Press & you'll find a comprehensive food list. Just ask if you don't understand.
Welcome to our friendly forum.

Sorry I’m really confused aha I’ve looked at the food sections but was hoping someone might’ve had a list pre made, hope I don’t sound lazy! :)

Lol just copy it then print.
Everyone has there own preference. The veg that could give them bloat only small bit once a week. Just trial & error really.

Thanks both of you. I’ve never had piggies before so I guess I want do do everything as best I can x

Basic guide is 80% of the diet should be hay.
About one handful of nuggets a day.
I give my 3 a pasta bowl of veggies throughout the day - giving them a good mix.
The forum diet guides are very good on how to balance the vege mix.

You will need to be prepared for the fact that a guinea pig is always hungry and 10 minutes after you’ve fed them they will be pleading starvation.

Welcome to the forum and it will be nice to see pictures of your piggies when you get them.
Good for you working on being well prepared.
