Hi guys ok so my pigs are eating gp food from tesco but not the one everyone here is talking about ....My tesco dont do a bag like that...its just white with a pic of a pig on the front...I actually dont like it because it has a lot of seeds in it and iv also got rabbits and wanted it compare it so i did and the only dif between both is there is more flakes in the gp.....The bunnies only eat about half of it..its not great so that didnt stay long lol but the oigs love the tesco gp food....

any good gp food that anyone would really recommended...iv got three and will b getting more so maybe something thats not hugly expensive but dont mind paying something reasonable...I'm living in Ireland and the two main petshops are maxi zoo and petmania which i think are both fairly ok the others are small local shops that i love and have worked in one of them...any ideas....also any place where i can get fleece thanks guys xxxxxxxxxx

Its best to feed a pellet food as it prevents selective feeding. There are many good quality brands of pellet food such as burgess excell, science selective, harringtons etc. I feed mine pets at home own brand and mine love them!

Do you have a primark near then you? Many people get their fleeces from there I believe.

I'm sure that you would be able to order food online somewhere... I know that some people on here also order their food online so hopefully they might be able to provide you with a link. :))

Probably best if you slowly wean them onto guinea pig Pellets. They prevent selective feeding and make sure they get a good all rounded diet. Ones people tend to go for are brands like Burgess Excel guinea pig nuggets. I feed my lot on Harringtons Guinea pig Pellets and they're the cheapest I've seen around. You can ask for some money off vouchers on the website(a persuasive email will usually do the trick) and buying in bulk and then storing in air tight containers will help save you money aswell. Also buying online may be an option if you can't find it in your local pet shops? Remember to provide fresh water at all times along with a good quality hay and veggies. Good luck! :)

Bubbleandsqueak4ever must have posted while I was still typing. Sorry about that. :) other places that sell fleece are: dunelm mill, pound shops, b and m bargains and ebay.

Science selective is a great food for piggies, they loooooove it! It is in a pellet form and is always good quality. Just type science selective guinea pig food into google or amazon and you can get it with free delivery right to your door! All of my 12 piggies are on it and no problems yet!

B and M are good. I got 2.5kg of wagg optimum pellets for £2.99
(think they are cheap there as wagg have now been rebranded as harringtons)
