So I was cleaning my wife's guinea pig cage this morning and I found this? Anyone know what it is

Ok, so I have no idea what this is but it can not be good. If it isn't some food you have put in their DEFINITELY contact a vet and inquire. How big is it?

It seems to have come from one of my bigger ones rear? She may have been preggo but we don't know nothing else was found its a inch or so she had a little blood on the rear so we are keeping a eye since it was to late for today

Vet Immediately I don’t know what it is but it’s bad that is not something you see Fromm your guinea pig regularly also please post what it is

I'd get to the vets asap. Any blood is a vet trip I'm afraid! How's she doing, eating and moving around okay?

It kinda looks like a sperm rod? How long have you had the girls? Might be worth checking their genders, especially if there's any risk of babies being born!

We got her about may 6 2017 and she's moving fine, eating, drinking running around checked the other girls and they are fine to no blood cleaned her of and checked the cage there's no blood anywhere but on her rear area but nothing reappeared our male is no longer chasing her

Okay it could be some kind of bladder issue then? Is it hard or squidgy? Definitely needing a vet appointment as soon as possible. I hope she's better soon :)

Definitely a vets visit ASAP! Make sure you either take it with you or at least take the photo!

You say the male is no longer chasing her; is she living with a male?

@Rageoftheday - it's sounding from your previous posts that you have a boar and at least one sow. I hope your boar is neutered - if not , please separate him form your sows immediately . This forum does not support intentional breeding .

I am wondering if what you have seen is a sperm rod - I am trying to find a link for you to get a bit more information .

it looks like it could possibly be a sperm rod ,but i cannot be 100% positive ! have you got male guinea pigs ?

Hello

That does indeed look like a sperm rod, Have you got a male boar in with her? Is he neutered? Are you sure that came from your female and not the male is so?
Is there anymore blood around the sows genitals? Have you contacted your vet?
