Age, any other symptoms.
Give her a Buscopan Tablet, crushed and mixed with water.

If she's only refused to eat for one day it might not be as serious as you may think - Inara didn't eat or drink for the whole day last week and then the next day she was fine! Sometimes they have off days just like people :)

Hopefully it isn't anything serious and the buscopan will perk her up
Have you rang a vet to describe the symptoms and see what they recommend?

she has done 1 poo and when we put her down in the cage she paused; like she was pooing then washed herself how much buscopan should i give i nhave also got some infacol for wind how much of that? she looks like she's eating hayu

Please be careful of how many medicines you are giving her, and at least speak to a vet ASAP - ideally get an emergency appointment. Do not give her any more medicines, she's had enough and too many can damage the kidneys (and, I think, liver).

In my experience, having two pigs with chronic bloat (frequent buildups of gas that are like "mild" versions of bloat, triggered by eating certain foods) the Buscopan works the best without a doubt. One 10mg Buscopan tablet, crushed and syringe with around 1ml of water.

In the past I have tried Infacol (dose was 0.5ml at most, but the bloat was not severe) and had limited success with it. I have not used Rennie, Gripe Water or Dentanox Colic Drops but I have heard that all can be used. However I could not speculate on doses and I would not give more than one drug at a time.

You need to get her examined by the vet ASAP to determine the cause of the bloat, if it is indeed this condition. Sometimes a blockage can lead to bloat, this needs to be ruled out by x-ray before you start trying to syringe feed her or put much into her.

If she is eating then that is a good sign, but please do get her to a vet ASAP.

Try to make sure she is moving about, that will help her problem.
If you take her to a vet. make sure you agree with the diagnosis!!!
I would not expect it to be something weird and extremely rare, and expensive.
I have had many pigs with similar symptoms but have never felt it necessary to take an xray.

Excellent news, sounds like you were lucky with her. Fingers crossed for a complete recovery and that she gets totally back to normal. :)

Let her rest, she'll typically only sleep for a short while anyway and there is nothing you can achieve by waking her each time she sleeps.

Now is a good time to try and figure out what might have caused her problem. What did she eat last night?

she has been absoloutly obsessed with her paper at the bottom of the cage so she might have got a blob of that stuck in her other than that just apples and carrots last night maybe she got a pip stuck ? :{ she had been drinking a lot of water maybe she was trying to get it through? :{

Africa is obsessed with newspaper so I doubt it's that. Altho I'm guessing each guinea pig is very different. Are their any toys in her cage that have small parts? I treat my guinea pigs like babies when it comes to things like toys and such. Espcially since Africa has a obsession with plastic!
