Hi there, I have 3 boys at a year or under and they stay in my living room in a large c and c cage lined completely with fleece.

Due to a change in my circumstances I am going to need to move home to my parents house which leaves an issue with the pigs. There is simply no room indoors for them. Which gives me two options. I could contact guinea pig rescues or somewhere like that and give the boys away - something I really don't want to do, they are very well looked after and eat like kings!

Or I could keep them and put them in my parents garage. This way they could be brought into the house every night, fed the way they always have been etc. I live in Scotland so obviously winters are cold and the garage will be cold in the winter however there is no wind and nothing else can get in. If I just put the c and c cage in there would they be ok to live in that remembering they live on fleece and have fleece tunnels and fleece pigloos etc or would it be too cold?

I have no experience with piggies outside, in garages, sheds etc, but I would have thought it would be too cold? Could you somehow heat the garage? Or get a hutch that can be filled with hay for extra warmth?

Also out of Interest how do your 3 boys get along? I've only ever had a pair, and that wasn't even successful for me!
