We got a male guinea pig about 3 weeks ago. He's approximately 3 years old. Today we brought him outside to play and noticed he would fall over and was twitching. He did it for about 3 mins and passed away. Any help as to why would be gratefully appreciated.

I am ever so sorry, it looks like he may have had a stroke or a heart attack. Either can happen out of the blue at any age and it is always a massive shock.
