We cleaned the cage today, and saw this
They are under 3-4months males.

It's difficult to say. Have you seen any aggression? Loud chattering etc? It ciuld even be the start of a skin issue. Is there any hair loss?

A lot of chattering inside of little play pin because it's really small and no hideys. Besides that they might low teeth chatter in there cage

Low teeth chatter in this play pin. We don't use it besides cleaning cage because it's not big enough

I don't think any skin or hair loss.
The top of his head is scabbed

It does seem like a bite wound then and so my gut feeling is to separate as blood has been drawn. Is it possible to divide their cage?

Should I see what the vets say? I haven't filed or clip there nails yet and they face hump each other all the time and there nails are extremely sharp, also we have a lot of bugs and spiders. Three days ago we fought a spider out there cage

trouble is its not a common place for a bite wound to be normally its rump end or facial or ripped ears etc . it could be a claw wound or is there anything sharp in cage he could have smacked his head on? id be inclined to keep a close eye on before separating as I'm not convinced that it is a bite wound x

Update:
I took them to the vet it was 41usd.
They said they were very healthy great weight no sickness,
Arrange there houses and food one or twice daily, use different bedding than I have, nibbles doesn't need antibiotics or medicine.
They don't have mites or anything,
Very healthy boys.
To keep a bigger cage or finish the 2nd floor as soon as possible,
he said it looked like he was bit in a little fight.
He told me do not separate them just keep a eye. He's a professional who's been doing this for a very long time,
Don't separate them because they were playing cuddling and eating in front of each other.
So I'm going to keep them together work on the 2nd floor today again switch there food and houses twice a day. And keep a eye on them
He said it wasn't big enough to need medicine

Another update: a wooden support beam for the 2nd floor they can stick there head up there I felt the edge it was very very sharp so I took it out and sanded it heavily and washed the dust off and it's drying now.

I still don't know what really caused it

On way to Walmart soon to get another type of bedding the vet recommended

I have guinea pig to nail clippers but am so afraid to use them and I don't know if I can file them? All I have are clippers and there nails are extremely sharp. They do teeth chatter. But only fight fight when in tight spaces.
I don't think they fought and drew blood?

Most pigs will chatter if cornered in a tight space as they feel threatened. I would make the cage as big as you can and limit the amount of areas where they could get stuck. If the beam is the right height it is possible that that is what caused the wound but we will never know for certain.

C&C cages are lovely - but, you've put a lot of hard work into your current set up . How big is your current set up?

Not big enough from what the vet said I showed him pictures, I'll get the measure meets again today or tomorrow going to new house to paint soon.

Pic of new roof was painting lol.
Decided to just get the 200 dollar cage. The owner of website said she'd give me 5% off
