Help! Losing Weight

Please help. My beautifull Ginny is losing weight. She weighed 1143g in April and is now 1024g. I have taken her to the vets but they won't do anything. Just gave her baytrill as she has a hard lump in her throat. They don't know what it is or why she's losing weight. She's eating and drinking but is not herself. Refusing to eat the critical care now too. She only had it for two days. So scared!

Good that you are having her seen again. Where does the lump sit exactly?

Please switch to topping her up with syringe feeding and watering; it can well be that the lump is painful and/or pressing on her esophagus. Complete Syringe Feeding Guide

It doesn't seem to hurt her as I have felt it and the vet was pressing on it and moving it about. It's where an Adams apple would be and is about the size of a pea. Has been there 1 week but she must have been losing get weight before that. I syringe feed her the critical care but she is now refusing to open her mouth.
