My guinea pig Sophie ate a ribbon prolly an inch long...what do i do!?!?!?!?!

I'm not sure but it probably won't do any harm. Mine eat newspaper and cardboard and are fine. One ate a large chunk of a Match Attax football card that my son had dropped the other day, and lived to tell the tale!

I'd keep a very close eye on her, make sure she is eating a poohing. Give her lots of hay to help it pass through.

Hopefully she'll be ok.

If she seems unwell, isn't eating or isn't pooping then I'd take her to the vet . . .

There's nothing you can do. I wouldn't worry too much though, mine have ate allsorts despite my best attempts to make their surroundings piggie safe when they're out. Just keep an eye on her over the next couple of days and if you think somethings not right with her ( not eating, not pooping etc ) then take her to the vet but I'm sure she'll be fine x

Try not to worry, hopefully she will be fine. My rabbit ate a piece of string once and a poisonous flower! :o I was going out of my mind, but he was ok. :)

One of my guinea pigs eat a ribbon and was fine; I would keep an eye on her, but I wouldn't panic.

I don't have anything additional to advise on what's already been said - just keep an eye on her and the ribbon should pass through the other end. My lot are always eatting something they shouldn't - even with the best intentions they always find something.

I cant give any better advice than anyone else. just keep a close eye on her. Sexy ate sellctape the other day and i had put my fingers in his mouth to get it out! they will find allsorts, no matter how much you 'pig proof' things!:))
