Help My Screeching Piggy!

My pig Chester for the third time today had just let out a bloodcurdling screech as I approached their cage...
Every time he's done it it's been when I come up to the cage, and I moved it today so I can make room for the new one I'm about to build. So I come up to the new location and he lets out this awful screech!
Could he just be frightened? Due to a canopy I added, he can't see me until I'm over his section...
This is really freaking me out. Maybe if he could see me approach better he won't do that?

I would recommend to talk gently all the time and to allow him to see you coming. A predator that makes its presence known is not hunting!

You could try removing the canopy and see if he still does it. I talk to my piggys as I approach the cagr so they know I'm coming, that might help.

It could be a reaction to somthing outside the cage that is frightern Chester! Is there anything like a dog cat or children that could be disterbing him ?

@gizzy no, they are in a room alone. I removed the canopy and made it obvious to where he could see me and I've come in some 5 or 6 times to get items from the room. That seemed to be the issue.

My piggies only squeak, and not when they see me! but when they hear the keys being turned for me to give them brekki!
