Hi there. So Belle's no longer get alone anymore yay! She got taken piggy dating and was very friendly with the pigs there. She was even bordering on needy. She must have been an incredibly lonely piggy. She was even dancing a bit between sniffs and licks!

So below is Belle's new Friend and hopefully if all goes well over the next 24hrs. She'll need a name. She very skittish and was a bit terrified at first so I guess she's less outgoing than Belle is. She is tricolour black, red and white. She's mainly white with a black face and a black patch on her side and a red spot on her bum.

I'm a fan of old fashioned names and nature inspired names but we also like something that will match Belle's name. We were thinking Bonnie but we're open for suggestions.

hmm the first thought that went through my head was Disney's Beauty and the Beast though the only character that could come close to what you describe is Mrs Potts.

Perhaps Rose, Georgie or Flo (my Gran was called Florence and referred to as Flo for short - I've always quite liked it as a piggy name but have almost always kept the names the rescue gave my pigs)?

She's gorgeous! I usually go with the first name that pops into my head as its 'meant to be' and the name that came into my head when I saw your girl was 'Sprout' :D

The other half said if we got a boy it would have to be named Beast or Gaston. Hated Beast, Gaston doesn't seem too bad now tbh. But both are irrelevant since this is a little girly.

I love Flo, sadly we have someone in the family named Rosie so I don't think they'd be impressed if we got a piggy and name her that. Teehee

I've gotta say sprout is the cutest name I've ever heard. Lol!

I asked the other half ... He said no. :'(

Maybe the next generation of Guineas can be food themed and I'll put that in my name bank.

If it was a neutered boy I would have edged towards Maurice (her dad's name). Garston was too obnoxious for my liking and I don't think I could do that to a lovely pig :lol!:

If you wanted to keep a Disney theme to go with Belle then I'd go for Cinders. If you wanted to go with a French style name to go with Belle then I quite like Marguerite which is French for Daisy and fits with your nature inspired names....
She's very pretty, I love her markings :luv:

Aww, I quite like Daisy! Thats a sweet name for a sweet little girl.

This is a nice picture from this morning I thought I'd share. You can see new pig's pretty black splodge. All things considered they seem to be getting on pretty well. Even if there was a small squabble over who got the best bits of breakfast.

I love the old fashioned names or flower names. Daisy is a name on my radar for any new sow who may join us (Violet is getting on a bit now).

One of my rabbits is called Daisy. She came with the name and it was so sweet that I kept it.

Good luck with your decision. I like flower names too; primrose, lavender, lupin, hyacynth, jasmine, rose ...

Hmm nature names...Daisy is nice or sage or heather.
