We have a neighbour two doors down that is doing some sort of building works, there is a fair amount of dust coming over the fence and I am not sure if it is ok to put the Guinea pigs out in, I don’t know if they should be breathing it in? I wondered if you guys have any advice?

I would avoid it if possible, brick dust etc isn’t very nice - you shouldn’t really be breathing it yourself! Not toxic exactly, but certainly an irritant and your lungs wouldn’t thank you

If you can, please bring them inside during the day; you should do that anyway in hot weather.

I agree, keep them inside to protect them from the dust, it won't be pleasant for anyone.

Thanks for all the advice, they are inside but the neighbour is so unpredictable, I don’t know when he is doing it or when he might start doing it! 🙄😐

I usually only put them out in the shade in the evening anyway but the neighbour is so unpredictable I have no clue whether he is going to start doing the building work

I would stick to hand cutting grass for them until it’s over (rinsing it too) if he’s not in a routine
