Hi and welcome to the forum. I am so sorry you lost your piggy. How horrible for you. If you wish to get another guinea pig then please adopt from a rescue. You can be sure you will be getting a guinea pig with a clean bill of health and you will be giving an unwanted piggy a loving home. I think it would work really well to have a neutered boar with your two sows. Are you sure you want a new guinea pig when you have only had your girls for two weeks? You will not have had a chance to get to know them yet.

There are no real ways of getting guinea pigs tame. You just need lots of patience and being gentle. Hold them each day and speak softly. You can offer a piece of their favourite vegetable while you hold them so they associate you with something nice.

What set up do you have? Are your piggies indoors or outdoors?

Thankyou :)

We get them out everyday but they sometimes get little scatty when they no its time to come out.. we have them a big cage and they have lots of veg hay etc. Yeah i still cant believe it poor squeaky :( I have had them for a month. Would love to adopt but not sure how they would take it! They are both crazy always pop corning hehe! Just wonderd if i could get some advice really.. SO many different things on the internet about them.

What veggies do you feed yours? i will try and upload a picture so you can see them :) :)

Veggies depend on the week for me, mine seem to be prone to too much callcium, so i have to watch that :)

The best way to get them a friend, would be to visit a rescue where they will oversee the bonding. :) But I'm not personally sure where your closest one would be :)
