Hi everyone I haven't been on for a while but wondered if you would mind giving some advice.
Squeek is 4years old and since yesterday has been acting strange. He ate last night but this morning wasn't his self and I didn't see him eat. This evening my son went out to feed him and found that he was just laying down and making crying sounds when Joshua tried to move him. We have bought him and his friend inside and given Squeek .4ml of Calpol and tried to give him a little mashed up pellets in warm water. He is still the same. We will take him to the vet in the morning but is there anything else we could do? Thank you x

He needs to see a vet ASAP, waiting until the morning may be too late. Please see this thread if you're unsure how to contact your emergency vet http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?90842-How-to-contact-a-vet-out-of-hours

Totally agree with Amanda, keeping all fingers and toes crossed for your little guy - let us know how you get on when you can

Hi thank you all for your help I rang the vet and he very kindly agreed to see us as he was sleeping in the flat above. But little Squeek went to the bridge before we made it :( We are all devastated.

Oh no, I am so sorry :(. At least you tried to get him seen, you did what you could. They sometimes just go downhill so fast...

With very best wishes to you all,

shiny

Very sorry for your loss.

RIP Squeek
