If I were you, I would telephone your vet and ask how much it would cost for an examination . If you take your guinea pig for an examination , your vet will tell you how much the treatment will cost.
 
Can you please give us the General area where you live. It will be helpful for us to be able to tell you places to go for vets and things.
 
Ok, now that they are separated you need to take them both to a vet and speak to them about

1) your females possible pregnancy
2) the scratching and fur loss
3) your females possible respiratory infection
4) discuss and set a date with the vet to have your male castrated when this suits you financially.
5) even ask them to write and explain to you a list of foods they need if it will help you

They really need to see a vet as soon as possible Alejandro
 
And unlimited hay.. Hay is the grass like stuff you have in the yellow box on the small cage.. They need alot of it all the time, in both cages.
 
I'm trying not to throw too much information at you at once but put a house in the cage without one.

Even a card board shoe box with a door cut out with some hay in the bottom of it. This should make him a little more settled

Can I put both Guinea pigs in the same cage if I'm watching them or can the other Guinea pig spread what ever it has to the other one

Whatever you do, dont put them in the same cage as each other. You need to get a larger cage, at least a 2x3 c and c cage for each of them. You will then need to either neuter the male pig or get each of them a companion of the same sex or neutered/spayed. They also need to have a large amount of hay, not just a small bowl full. I can see that you are doing the best you can but you really need to listen and act on the advise given by the other forum members. They are just trying to help and will know what to do to give you piggies a better quality of life. Also, please can you state how long you have had them. If you put them both in the same cage, it is highly possible that the male pig will impregnate the female. Even if you are there to stop it when you see him trying to impregnate her, It will still be annoying and stressful for the female. I know it is incredibly tempting to put them back together but this will just make matters worse :)
 
How long should I put them on the ground for and the Guinea pigs both arnt eating allot they still eat but not as much as they use to
 
Alejandro, please find a way to take your guinea pigs to a vet.

We cannot diagnose or treat your guinea pigs. Only a vet can.
They can also teach you how take care of them properly.

Can you ask whoever bought you the guinea pigs to pay for them to go to a vet?
 
I buyed it from random people I don't know and have no information like there number or anything but is there any reason they don't eat allot?
 
I'm trying to take them to the vet but first I'm trying to get money I'll take them to the vet in less then a week
 
@Alejandro Mata you've been given very good advice here. You should listen to it. I'll repeat again that you shouldn't put these pigs together at the moment. Do you have an adult who can help you?

how long have you had them? What food have you been feeding them? have they had unlimited hay? they need to have something constantly going through their digestive system otherwise it can shut down.
 
In a nutshell: a male and female guinea pig together will have babies. If they were living together, it is very likely your female is pregnant already, even if you didn't see them mate. Even if she is pregnant, she can become pregnant again pretty much immediately after giving birth. This back to back pregnancy is dangerous to the female and you will end up with more guinea pigs. So please, keep them separate, for their own good. If they are constantly trying to get back to each other, put them in separate rooms where they can't see/smell each other.

Guinea pigs need more space than what they have in the cages you are using. They also need food, water, somewhere to hide. They need hay to be the main part of their diet and most people feed a guinea pig pellet that is vitamin-C fortified. Guinea pigs need vitamin C in their diets just like humans do.

It sounds like got got into this without really knowing what guinea pigs need to thrive... there are good links here about diet, about housing, about pregnancy/birth. Please read up and get a sense of where to go from here. There is no way for us to diagnose guinea pigs over the internet. We can't see what they are eating, how they are behaving, etc. We can't diagnose a pregnancy or a skin condition. Seeing a vet is probably best- they can assess for skin conditions/hair loss, assess your female for pregnancy, and give you a cost estimate on neutering your male if you want to keep them as a pair together. They can also confirm their genders absolutely.

But until then: separate your pigs. Keep them separate. Give them some hay. You can buy it in any pet store. It is the most important part of the diet. These are things you can do yourself, right now.
 
What exactly are you feeding them and how often?

could you post pictures of their dry food and hay bags if this is easier?
What vegetables are you feeding them?

The food is good. The bigger bag is hay.. They need a pile of this in both cages.. A few handfuls of hay.

They MUST stay in their own cages or the female will become pregnant. Dont let them together at any time, not on the floor or any other place.

Get the female checked by a vet when u have money. Get her checked for pregnancy (carrying babies). Get her checked for her losing fur.

Ask the vet about having the boy neutered (so he cant make the female pregnant.)

Carrots are fine to feed them. Just one baby carrot each just now to make sure their tummys dont get upset.

Your boy needs a house to sleep in, like the one the girl has. It will help him calm down.

You can put a blanket up between the two cages so they cant see each other and get upset. Or you can put the cages in different rooms.

I hope you understand that these things are very important to keep your guinea pigs happy and healthy.

Can you tell us if you are an adult? Or are you under 16?
 
Because you are 15, does this mean you a waiting for an adult to give you money for the vets?
 
Yes & the male Guinea now makes strange Quiat sounds like it's wheeking or shreaking but it sounds like there is water in its mouth this is probably normal but I'm not sure
