We have had our two piggies for 3 months. Today I noticed Charlie has 2 balding lines along his back...He is eating and drinking and otherwise seems ok.
Any ideas what this might be ?

Thanks for your quick reply. Is it catching for the other Guinea? Should I separate them?

I agree with @Pound Shilling & Pig. There are some other things it could be though, so definitely a vet visit. Make sure you wash your hands and change your clothes after handling him, as some things can pass to humans - nothing sinister, just a pain to treat if it gets a hold.

Yes other piggies can catch them but this dosen't mean they will. I wouldn't separate them as your other piggy has already been exposed and separation may weaken their bond. I would pop them both along to the vets

It is catching. You do not need to separate but you always need to treat all piggies in contact with each other. The mites will have likely already jumped further.
