We noticed our boys got a little bit nasally so took them to vets. Checked them over and said chest sounded fine. I hadn’t noticed any exudate from their noses at all but the vet gave me 2.5% baytril, 0.45ml per pig twice a day. They finished the course on a Monday, and during lap time tonight I noticed Tulio has a bit of a crusty nose, see picture. I don’t think he’s any more nasally than before the baytril. I’ll take him to the vets tomorrow but wanted some reassurance!

Recently changed them to wood shavings, high quality dust extracted. They’ve previously been on fleece and also care fresh.

Any advice welcomed!

I’m wondering if it could be where he’s got his nose wet on his bottle and then done snuggling in the hay/shavings.

Hi! I am sorry but I can't see anything unusual in your picture?

Just keep an eye out for the moment. It could be a bogey/booger, which should come off. If the area gets larger, then please see your vet.

Hanks weibke. It seemed more like snot, and he is such a wriggle when I need to take a picture!
