I have a 4 ft hutch for my piggies in the garage (my dad wont let them be in the house :( ) But i think it might be a bit small. They are alright in it until i put an igloo in and then it seems to shrink

Is there a option i could try that would give them more space? I dont have much in the way of funding either

Thanks x

If you've some DIY knowledge or know someone who has you could add an upper level to part of it with a ramp or tunnel access.
Like this :)

NB. That is a frozen water bottle in a sock you can see, not a piggy :))

You can create more space by adding a mezzanine floor. I like your solution, Niki

Thanks Wiebke.

I should say that hutch wasn't 4ft long & onlyhoused ONE piggy. It's been gone a long time as the pic is a couple of years old. :)

maybe instead of using igloos you could use snuggle sacs which would go flat allowing extra lap running space? depending on the size of your piggy you maybe able to use the sleeves off a large mans fleece and just sew along the bottom (wrist end)? though these will need regular washing....

What are your DIY skills like? If you buy the timber from a local timber merchant, you could probably make one to your own specifications quite cheaply.
