help one of my pigs is dead

all my pigs were fine and i heard distress coming from the girls.... all them were huddled but one was lying outstreached dead, she is in my arms at the moment still warm... wtf happened :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
 
the guinea pig lady *who told me off* said that it can sometimes happen one minute they're fine the next well they're up in heaven.

am sorry for your loss hun *hug*

It happens that some thing hapens inside i always feel sad for the guineas left behind its heart breaking watching a sad uinea pig mourning a friend

there was nothing you could of done hun, but we all go through that feeling i was the same with xavier.

I'm so sorry Clare, couldn't talk earlier Dad was on the phone.

I don't think it was anything you did or could have done to save her. I went through this when we lost Cuzzy. To me it sounds genetic, maybe heart defect or something major that would cause her to go over to the bridge straight away.

Wish I could make it better for you, I'm so sorry.

my poor sweet baby, she was special to me and i love her, this has hit me like a ton of bricks, her sister angel keeps calling out.
Thanks for all your support, funny first thing i did was come running here with Popcorn in my arms..... she now in a cosy and i will bury her tomorow, cant face putting her out in the cold tonight.
 
we all love our pets hun and we all know how you feel.

at least you can have her close to you, my xavier would of needed to be burried at least 3ft down because of the cats around here.

she isnt and wasnt in pain though, please remember that, she knows that you love her and that you were an amazing mummy for her

I agree with Lou it sounds so quick and she wouldn't have known much about it, just so shocking for you and her sister. Your wonderful with your pigs.

Oh Clare, how awful! So sorry. It does sound like it was very quick, at least she didn't suffer. What a shock. :'(

When gps go like this it is a coronary and she would not have suffered.There are no warning signs so nothing you could do.This has happ'ended to me several times over the years and is very distressin g.

Take consolation in the fact that she did not suffer and was with her friends.

I am so sorry for you,it is an awf.ul shock.
